Pool remodeling options

How it works
Old pools usually need three separate things fixed. The shell and its finish, the deck around it, and the equipment keeping the water clean. We scope all three, because replastering a pool that sits on a failing pump only moves the problem down the road. Modern finishes, safer surfaces, and equipment that meets current California efficiency rules.
We check the shell, tile line, deck, and equipment pad, then run the system to see what is actually working. Leaks get chased before we plan anything.
Plaster, pebble, or tile. Coping and decking get picked at the same time so the whole thing reads as one project.
Structural changes and any gas or electrical work get permitted. We spec pumps and heaters to current California efficiency rules.
Chip out the old surface, repair the shell, reset tile and coping. Anything structural gets handled while the pool is empty.
The new surface goes on, the deck gets finished, then we fill and balance the water. You get a start-up walkthrough on the equipment.
What's included

FAQ
Plaster finishes, Pebble Tec surfaces, tile and coping, deck work, and equipment upgrades. We scope the shell, the surround, and the systems together.
Yes. Finish, coping, decking, and equipment are chosen for your backyard layout and how you use the pool.
A resurface with new tile and coping is usually three to six weeks. Deck work or new equipment stretches it. Curing and start-up need their own time at the end.
Pebble costs more up front and lasts longer. Plaster makes sense if you want the classic look or a shorter payback window. We give you the tradeoff for your specific pool.
When we replace equipment, we spec variable-speed pumps and current-code heaters and lighting. Those upgrades usually cut the electric bill while keeping performance.
